Scotland’s National Airshow in East Fortune

East Lothian has got much to offer!

This weekend Scotland’s National Airshow will return to the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, just six miles away from Letham House, offering a spectacular day of fun and entertainment for young and old. The visitors will be able to enjoy over two hours of impressive aerial displays, ranging from historic warbirds to modern military and civilian aircrafts. The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows will headline the event and will be celebrating their 50th flying season this year. The National Museum of Flights will allow its guests to discover planes and the history of aviation, with the opportunity of climbing a replica Second World War Spitfire aircraft.

A full day of entertainment will be provided with live music by the Haddington Pipe Band and the Fèis Rois National Ceilidh musicians. There will be craft stalls, workshops, bouncy castles, storytelling and many other activities, guaranteeing an unforgettable day out!
